LIFE ON
2 WHEELS

MOTED (abbreviation for Motorcycle Industry Association) in Turkeyi asked how to make a campaign to increase the use of motorcycles in traffic.

IT IS NOT
THE VEHICLE
IT IS THE
PERCEPTION

When MOTED asked its question, we did our research on motorcyles and traffic. The result was quite obvious. It is not the vehicle itself, it is the traffic condition that keeps people away from riding motorcycles.

DEVELOPING
THE CONCEPT

As the challenges were there, we decided to work on the concept first. The problem is the general opinion that motorcycles are dangerous. Although when compared to cars, fatal accident rates of motorcycle are much lower, people think that it is much more dangerous. The main problem is the traffic, in which motorcycles are not seen as a vehicle as they cover less surface area on the road. So the solution was already there: Make traffic better and make people respect more to each other.

WE ARE
A FAMILY

Our solution is to build a social responsibility project called ‘Biz Trafikte de Aileyiz’ ‘We are also a family within traffic.’ The story is about people being connected via the roads they share, the everyday situations and respect.

MAGIC
TOUCH

Within the concept, we developed a magic movement. A gesture that can be used for almost anything and can solve almost every problem in traffic.

‘Sihirli Hareket’ meaning ‘Magic Gesture’ can be hi, bye, thanks, sorry, you’re welcome... Aren’t these enough for a calm traffic?

MAKE
YOUR MOVE

We wrote a scenario for the project and the gesture. From the synopsis to the final output, everything has happened inhouse. This movie has become one of the most favourites among riders. And now it is being displayed on all national TV channels.

MESSAGE
SEGMENTED

We’ve segmented our message for different target audience, covering taxi drivers, bus drivers, riders, car drivers and etc. Then we created printed documents for security authorities to distribute.
